I loved working on the vase in this painting. . . Do you see the aqua reflection from the box on the bottom third of the vase?

Yellow Rose. Oil on linen panel. November 2010. 8 hours.
This was a real live rose I set up as a still life; something I don't usually do because fresh flowers tend to wilt before I'm even done mixing my paint.
The time crunch turned out to be a good thing because it didn't allow me time to over-perfectionize it.
